2026 Program & Letter
For the program: 2026 State Shoot Program
On behalf of the BSTA Board of Directors, we are
pleased to welcome you to the 2026 Montana State
Trapshooting Championships, April 23-26, 2026. We
are excited to have you with us for another weekend
of competition and camaraderie.
Last year marked a historic milestone-the first Montana
State PITA Shoot in 78 years-and the turnout and sup-
port from shooters from Montana, California, Idaho,
Oregon, and Washington exceeded all expectations.
The energy and participation made it a truly memora-
ble event. Take a moment to recognize last years win-
ners and champions on page 4 & 5.
I want to extend a sincere thank you to our sponsors,
volunteers and the club, whose support makes this
State shoot possible.
We listened closely to your feedback and have made
several improvements to the 2026 program. Some of
them include start times, options, and more Skrap.
I look forward to seeing you all at the shoot. Have fun
and shoot well.
On behalf of the BSTA Board of Directors,
Jacob Ohonich, BSTA President
